Father’s Day Contest
May is all about Mom with Mother’s Day. So at Farmington Valley Orthodontics, we celebrated Dads throughout the month of June. Why? Our Pops rock! We encouraged our patients to write on a chalkboard sign why their Dad is their hero. We got some fabulous responses.

Patients also entered their Dads into our raffle contest for a $50 ACE Hardware gift card and t-shirt. We announced the winner of the raffle in a video on our Facebook page:

Thanks Mom and Dad
We’ve really got to thank Moms and Dads for making it all happen – they decide to give their kids a winning smile that will help take them far in life. They also shuttle them to appointments and remind them to keep compliant with important aspects of orthodontic treatment. Moms and Dads lead very busy lives. It’s amazing they find time to remind their kids to brush twice a day and wear their elastics to correct the bite and stay on track with treatment.
Parents, along with the patient, the dentist, and the orthodontist are part of a four member team that works together to achieve the best outcome for the patient – a healthy, beautiful smile that lasts a lifetime (it really does if you wear your retainer!). So our hats go off to Moms and Dads for all their contributions to the team! Thank you for all you do.
