Happy summer from the Smile Team!
This is such an exciting time of year for us as our patients transition from the school year to summer break. We absolutely LOVE hearing the exciting plans for summer including trips, camps, and quality family time. Our patients are traveling to Alaska, Maine, Hawaii, Iceland, France, Brazil, Italy, and so many more exciting local and international places. They are attending day camps, sleepaway camps, sports camps (lacrosse, baseball, swimming, and tennis) and other specialty camps like coding, language, nature, and cooking camps. Visiting relatives, relaxing with family, getting to sleep in are just some other fun things are patients are looking forward to. Thanks for sharing all of your summer plans with us. Whatever you are doing, Dr. Menjivar and the Smile Team are so excited to hear all about it at your next appointment!
Hopefully your summer plans will also include FUN FEST, our annual patient appreciation event, coming up on Sunday, July 10th at 2 pm. We’ll be hosting a movie screening of the new Minions movie, MINIONS: the Rise of Gru. This will be held at Apple Cinemas in Simsbury, and we ask that you RSVP as space is limited. When we saw the movie poster had the tagline “Brace Yourself”, showing a minion with braces we just knew we had to choose to host a movie screening for our patients. We are so excited and hope to see you and the whole family there!
