#OSAW2018: Orthodontic Staff Appreciation Week 2018
What an exciting week it was! For those of you who don’t know, the week of June 4th is Orthodontic Staff Appreciation Week when orthodontic offices all over the country celebrate their staff and everything they do. It takes a village. This is a mantra used by Dr. Menjivar and many orthodontists. Much of the success of orthodontic offices depends on the skills and talents of a highly-trained, competent, kind, and caring staff. The team ensures that patients are seen on time and that appointments run smoothly and efficiently. They assist in keeping parents up to date and informed and answer questions posed by patients and families.
Here at FVO, Dr. Menjivar knows she has a winning team. And although we feel the love year round, OSAW is an extra special time. We get treated to a daily surprise; in the past, we’ve received mani/pedis, car detailing, movie tickets, flowers, Bath and Body Works products, attended Happy Hour, or attended Plant Nite. This year, Dr. Menjivar had fun putting together a gift raffle. We got to select from wrapped presents and were surprised to open a variety of gifts ranging from purses and bath products to stationary and aromatherapy. Later in the week, we celebrated by going to our favorite Mexican restaurant in Avon, Puerta Vallarta. Lucky us, it’s right across the street! We bonded over guacamole, chips and salsa and delicious entrees.
A big thank you goes out to our head honcho Dr. Menjivar and all the patients here at FVO. Thanks to you, we get to do what we love everyday which is making people smile. To celebrate, our annual patient appreciation event, Fun Fest, is taking place this Saturday with a private screening of the Incredibles 2 movie. Thanks for being part of the #FVOFamily.
