Calling all Girl Scouts!

Cookie season is underway and as a former Girl Scout, Dr. Menjivar is looking forward to supporting a worthy cause. She’s even gone back to her old memory boxes to dust off her Girl Scout sash which has some really cool vintage badges, circa 1995. So come one, come all! Now is the time to pull together as a troop. CALL the office at 860-673-6105 to schedule a time to take a field trip to our office (20 West Avon Rd, Suite 102, Avon). We’re conveniently located in Avon where Avon meets Canton and Simsbury, just up the road from Farmington.

Bring  your cookie sign ups and don your Girl Scout uniform. Dr. Menjivar is looking forward to a really fun PHOTO op with you, our stars for the month! And of course, then we’ll get down to business. Dr. M and her office Farmington Valley Orthodontics will purchase 5 BOXES of cookies from EACH girl scout who comes with your troop. So you might wonder, what are we going to do with all those cookies??

If you know Dr. Menjivar, you know she has quite the sweet tooth. Doesn’t every dentist??! She may just have to delve into a box of samoas (yum to caramel, chocolate and coconut) or thin mints. Don’t worry, we won’t let her eat them all. Once they arrive, we’ll be taking your cookies to do MORE GOOD. They will brighten the day of local first responders, people like the police officers, EMTs, and fire fighters who keep our families and towns safe. What could be a better cause? This is a WIN, WIN, WIN!

And the fun is just beginning. Dr. M and the Smile Team will host a troop in our office next month so girls can meet a female leader, business owner and doctor and learn a little about dentistry and orthodontics along the way!
